Planning

Production Schedule

My schedule was partially helpful when making my final product. The main reason why it wasn't that helpful was because I didn't follow it as regularly as I would have liked too. This is due to the lack of time that I had towards the end of the project and instead I just wanted to get the footage and do the documents as soon as possible. As well as this, I changed my idea half way through this project and so this schedule was tailored to fit the first idea - I decided not to change the schedule after my idea changed because some of the schedule stayed the same and was still helpful to me with the time I had left in this project.

My location recce simply states that I would not have to ask anyone's permission or be worried about trespassing or any other legal issues as I will be filming all of the footage in my own home.

This risk form was very helpful as it allowed me to prevent any dangers happening to myself and my family when filming in my home, as well as this, none of the above risks happened whilst I was filming which means that it was a very successful and helpful document.

  1. There is evidence of good planning here Holly, you have evidenced planning for an interview by coming up with some interesting question personalised to the interviewee. The is evidence of good use of open questioning and leading questions. You say "I think that these questions will be very efficient at getting the information that I need for my documentary", why? what information do you want to get from this interview?

The next step is for you create an audio/visual script breaking down the structure of your doc and what additional footage you may need to film.
